The Rock Attache Case with G-Man

G-Man  G-Man developed a great love of music and radio when he was about 5 or 6 years old. He started collecting 45 RPM singles and sitting in his room introducing those records while speaking into a hairbrush imitating the great voices of Baltimore radio like Johnny Dark and all the other "boss jocks" on WCAO.

He started his radio career in high school when he and his friend got permission to set up the broom closet outside of the school cafeteria as a small radio studio. They had 2 turntables and a microphone (hmmm, sounds like a great line for a song). After spending time at several local college radio stations in town, he decided to make a go of it professionally and ended up at the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland, where he met and attended classes with Karen the Metal Mistress and they have been friends ever since. It is great to finally be working along side a life long friend.

He eventually worked at several stations doing different formats until he created his own DJ business and worked in different clubs between Baltimore and Ocean City for many years. Gaining the opportunity to advance in the music field, he snagged a gig at EMI doing marketing in the Mid-Atlantic region in the late 80s, rubbing elbows with the likes of Queensryche, Vixen, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and many more great bands in the Capital/EMI family.

His life journey has taken him to some very interesting places and he has worn many hats throughout his illustrious career. After burning out on the music biz and looking for the next big adventure, he applied and went to work for one of those alphabet soup agencies in DC, which took him to many exotic places where he gained his G-man monniker and worldly demeanor. You can ask him where he worked and what he did, but if he tells you he will probably have to terminate you.

Even through everything that he has done his passion for music and radio has always driven him to try the next best thing. After too many years of dealing with the bureaucracy and missing sitting behind a microphone, he jumped right back into his first love exploring the world of talk radio and producing podcasts. It wasn't too long before he ran into Karen the Metal Mistress and the next thing you know, he was invited to bring his rock attache case, full of musical surprises to Baltimore's Pure Rock Worldwide.

Each week he will open that tightly secured case and bring an eclectic variety of rock from the early bands of the 60s and 70s that were the forefathers of the hard rock and heavy metal scene, exploring the decadent decades of the 80s and 90s and bringing you the best of what the bands that are kicking it out today have to offer.

Stop by every Wednesday at 4 pm ET and check out what is inside the Rock Attache Case!
